Ready meals tend to be a distant memory for people with allergies or intolerances, especially those that cannot have gluten or dairy. So when I found a free-from lasagne in a local wholefoods store in Southampton I could not wait to try it.
Recently I have been craving carrot cake. While my sister makes a good one, it has a cream cheese icing and is full gluten and dairy. So after a bit of browsing through some recipes, I decide to adjust one and make it edible for gluten and milk intolerant people.
On Tuesday, 25th June, 2013, I met a friend in Bournemouth; it was the half-way point between where we both live.
So, I have been doing some thinking about my IBS and my diet. While I am happy being off gluten and dairy for the sake for feeling ‘well’ I do miss certain gluten and dairy filled goodies, like ‘real’ Pizzas and doughnuts!
